Simon Says Stamp - 3D BOX HAPPY CHRISTMAS Card



Hello Lovelies! I'll say it now, this card is not for everyone, but it's a celebration of color that I had a lot of fun putting together. The 3D Box Stencil let me experiment with this unusual color combo to make a very lively Christmas card!


I found this color combo on Instagram where a model was wearing a fabulous outfits in these hues, so of course my brain said, "make a card with it" and that's how we ended up here...

HAPPY CHRISTMAS CARD - Stenciling and Die-cutting

Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Stenciled Layer: 4 " x 5 1/4"




COLOR PALETTE
  • Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink Cubes: Lilac, Orchid Heather, Bubblegum, Guava and Cherry


 

CARD WALKTHROUGH

STENCILING

  • Trim a piece of 110lb Neenah Solar White Cardstock to 6" x 6"

  • Secure one of the stencils over the cardstock and use the blending brush to apply one of the ink colors through the openings in the stencil, rotate the stencil 90 degrees and repeat with another ink. Repeat the process again with a 3rd ink

  • Switch the current stencil for the 2nd stencil layer and repeat the inking and rotating process with the remaining 3 colors

  • Trim the stenciled layer to 4 " x 5 1/4"


DIE-CUTTING & ASSEMBLY



 

Embossing folders are such a joy to craft with! There is no reason for you to not give this easy card a try!
