Hi Lovelies!

Welcome to Day 1 of Simon Says Stamp's DieCember® Release Blog Hop! I am going rogue Lovelies! In a month that celebrates die-cutting, I've got a card about stenciling and coloring!!!

Stick with me though, as we will die-cut our little Sweet Tooth bear and sentiment for this card, so I think we will still be admitted to this DieCember® party!

To get oodles more die-cutting, Don't forget to visit the Simon Says Stamp Release Gallery to check out other DieCember®projects!

Let's review the key supplies for today's card:

SWEET CARD - Stenciling, Coloring and Die-cutting

A2 Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Stenciled Layer: 4" x 5 1/4"

Featuring:

COLOR PALETTE

CARD WALKTHROUGH

STENCILING THE BACKGROUND

Trim a sheet of 110LB / 80LB Neenah Cardstock to 6" x 6" and secure the cardstock to your preferred craft surface. The Large Chevron Stencil comes in 4 layers.

You should match each layer to the ink color before you start. I wanted the center chevron to be in the Sprout color but you can choose the color you prefer.

I started with ink-blending Charcoal stripes using the Small Smoke (grey) Blending Brush.

Use a light touch when blending so that your colors don't stray out of the lines.

STAMPING/DIE-CUTTING THE SENTIMENTS

Trim a small strip of silver Luxe Cardstock to create a border around the pink sentiment .

COLORING AND DIE-CUTTING THE BEAR

Markers:

Bear Body - N0, N1, N3, N4

Bear Cheeks & Ears - R20

Santa Hat - N0, RV06, RV09

Candy - RV04, RV06, RV09, R27, R29

Okay all of your embellishments are now ready to be layered on your background!

Loving the stripes and the pink sentiment framed with a little bit of sparkle!

This bear is truly a sweetie!

All done!

Now all you have to do is decide who you will give this cutie to!
