Simon Says Stamp - GOOD VIBES Friendship Card

Red embossed Christmas Card with All The Joy sentiment.

Hello Lovelies! Time for a little bit of easy-peasy! This made-in-minutes card is all about colorful stenciling to create a dimensional backdrop for our bold "Good Vibes" die-cut by CZ Design from the Sunny Vibes release.

Simple techniques with striking results. There's more than enough room for a secondary sentiment, but I decided to just stick with chunky vibes.

GOOD VIBES CARD - Foiling, Ink Blending, Die-cutting

Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

COLOR PALETTE

Neon Lunar Paste - Mood Ring, No Chill, Voltage, Yellowjacket, Tangent and Hot Mess

CARD WALKTHROUGH

STENCILING

  1. Gather the Neon Lunar Paste colors, opening each.

  2. Adhere a 5.5" x 5.5" piece of white cardstock to a Stamp and Stencil Mat.

  3. Secure the Wonky Chevron over the cardstock.

  4. Apply overlapping strips of each color of paste over two of the vertical "lines" of the chevron using a palette knife allowing colors to blend a little into each other.

  5. Remove stencil and place in a water bath until you can clean it. Remove cardstock from Mat and set aside to dry.

DIE-CUTTING

  1. Die-cut the Good Vibes sentiment out of Silver Holographic Cardstock.

  2. Die-cut the Good Vibes outline out of white cardstock twice.

  3. Layer and adhere with craft glue.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Trim the wonky chevron background to 4" x 5 1/4".

  2. Fold the Fog Card Base in half along the score line

  3. Adhere the sentiment with craft glue.

  4. Adhere the silver jewels.

Somehow the pearlescent sheen of the paste and the silver cardstock don't compete but compliment each other.

I just love the font of this sentiment, something about it makes me feel happy!

Have fun, make a simple card to make someone smile!
