Hello Lovelies! Let's just say that this is NOT my usual color palette for Christmas Cards but I decided if I was going to do pastel Holiday Cards, I would be fully committed! I took a monochromatic approach trying the new pre-scored Cotton Candy, Lemon Chiffon and Mint Cards to each while trying to embrace the joy of the Season.
For a lazybones like me who's often running out of time, pre-scored cards are a delightful convenience! The Jolly Christmas set from the Festive Fun release has five cute vignettes with characters to stamp and color and oodles of accents and sentiments. I used three here and they are sooo cute that it was hard to pick!

JOLLY CHRISTMAS CARD TRIO - Stamping, Watercoloring and Die-Cutting
Card Size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
COLOR PALETTE
Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks - Peony, Citrine, Dublin
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Stamp the images on Distress Watercolor Cardtsock using Memento Tuxedo black Ink.
Color the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers or similar. NOTE: I did not track the specific colors I used here but just had a bit of fun experimenting and not taking it too seriously.
Die-cut or fussy-cut the colored images.
Die-cut Domed Arches out of Cotton Candy, Lemon Chiffon and Mint Cardstock.
Use the coordinating Pawsitively Saturated Ink colors for deepen the color at the bottom of the arch and stamp snowflakes etc. across the top.
Adhere the colored images to the Domed Arches.
Add foam tape to the back of the Arches
Stamp the sentiments onto the card base using Simon Says Stamp Tsukineko Nocturne Ink.
Adhere the Arches to the Card Base
Use an Extra Fine White Posca to add little dots of snow as shown on the Card Base and the arch.
I seem to be less worried about perfection when using watercolor and actually find it more relaxing than alcohol markers if I just want to zone out and color. These sweet images dont take a lot to look cute!
