Keep it coming Simon Says Stamp, I adore new inkiness and I strongly suspect that if you are reading this post, then you do too!!!
We got another 5 ink trios in pinky, blue-greeny and especially greeny shades just in time for St. Patrick's card-making! I made you some of my regular swatches and a rather chic project that is not actually about the upcoming festive day.
As mentioned, we have 5 smashing Trios to choose from, each available for $19.99 or you can get the entire bundle of 15 ink pads for $99.99. Click image above, links below or browse the supplies gallery at the end of the post to shop!
I gave them my own little color family names to help me understand where they fit into the spectrum:
I'll not miss an opportunity to brag about Simon Says Stamp Blending Brushes which come in large and small sizes work like a charm to gently melt one color into another or just lay down the ink through a stencil.
I will make trio swatches later, which show you an ombre effect of each set of 3 but for now I did the solids and they're so pretty!
Also, after a few months of using the Holder below I'm happy to report that it is quite functional and holds my brush upright and in place with a relatively small footprint on a desktop where there can many things vying for space.
When the Pawsitively Saturated Inks first launched I reviewed 5 THINGS YOU NEED TO NOW ABOUT THE NEW PAWSITIVELY SATURATED INK PADS. Today after showcasing the new ink family members, we'll make an easy card using a new Layering Stencil, please check the prior post if you want to delve into observations/information about the inks.
THE 15 NEW COLORS
Trio 11 - Guava, Watermelon, Cherry
Trio 12 - Carnation, Peony, Rose
Trio 13 - Tidepool, Tropic, Aegean
Trio 14 - Aspen, Sage, Pine
Trio 15 - Spring, Dublin, Lucky
I created these swatches as I did the last ones, by gently swiping the ink pad across the surface of the diecut tag from top to bottom until all the paper is inked.
The foam surface of the pad is resilient, but you should treat it kindly. :-) If you don't feel confident about swiping, use your handy blending brushes!
A Brother label maker with 0.25" label tape was used to create the labels.
I'll admit, I was momentarily skeptical about whether I needed this many shades of pink and green, but as you can see the colors are distinct and offer you so many possibilities for your crafting projects.
So let's get to that project!
