When I want to watercolor but am feeling lazy about it, I go to my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. A mouthful of a name but a very forgiving set of markers that allow you to blend without using alcohol inks. I could have made this look more painterly by also using a water brush, but did I mention that I was being lazy???

Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers: Pink, Peach Pink, Orange, Bright Yellow, Yellow, Pale Yellow, Yellow Green, Light Green, May Green, Dark Oatmeal

QUICK! CARD WALKTHROUGH

COLORING

• Start by putting down a base color of pale yellow for the blooms and yellow green for the leaves

• Add orange to the blooms, and may green to the leaves to create subtle shadows and depth

• Highlight areas in the blooms with the pinks and blend out with bright yellow and yellow

• Blend out the may green with light green

• Add little spots and dashes of oatmeal to center of the petals randomly

Grab your foam adhesive supplies now as you will need them for the next few steps!
