Hello Lovelies! The HOLIDAY MAGIC from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous is finally here and I'm thrilled to share 2 cards that you can mass-produce for your ever-growing Christmas Card lists!
I knew immediately that I was going to "paint" the stamps from the Winter Watercolor 2 Stamp Set and the sentiments from the Cozy Christmas set were a good match with their simple rustic vibe. If you are looking for something easy and quick, I have got you covered!
Tim and Stampers released 5 NEW SETS and at the time this post was published, Simon Says Stamp is offering a full release bundle, and I think you may want all of them! Not that I am an enable or anything. Click here or the image below to shop.
In addition to the 2 new stamp sets, as far as key supplies you'll just need some twine or jute to complete these cards!!!

Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Holiday Cozy Christmas Stamp Set
Tim Holtz Ranger Ink Distress Ink /Marker - Candied Apple, Gathered Twigs
Tim Holtz Jute or May Arts Natural Twine String Burlap
Key Steps
Ink the entire "Berry Twig" stamp with a Candied Apple Distress Mini Ink Pad and stamp onto white heavystock; we are going to paint over the branch portions with a darker in so it does not matter if they are first stamped in red
Repeat the inking with a second layer of Candied Apple, but before stamping, mist stamp twice with water about 10 inches away from stamp
If you have a Gathered Twigs Distress Marker, use that to paint the stem of the stamp as shown; if not use the corner of a Distress Mini Ink Pad and stamp
As before, repeat inking with a second layer of Gathered Twigs, but before stamping, mist stamp twice with water about 10 inches away from stamp
Now just repeat this process for stamping the 2nd twig that overlaps the first twig
Stamp sentiment in Gathered Twig Ink
Use the Splatter Brush to splatter Antique Bronze Spray Stain across the card and let dry and then tie the Jute or Twine to embellish
How easy was that???
You can make a little production line to make several cards and experiment with colors along the way.

Sorry that I forgot to take a pic after I stamped the holly berries, but you can see the finished product below. :-)
I'm going to make a few more of these for friends this season and try out the other images in the set in different color schemes!
Lovelies, I wish I could say that I'm always Zen when I am crafting but sometimes I get too instense about wanting something to look a very specific way. It was really nice to relax and let the beauty of these watercolor stamps shine with just a little ink and some splatter.
Let me know in the comments if you have tried painting your stamps!
Thank you again for visiting! See you soon!
